His Life. His Times. His Humor.
A CONTEMPORARY SOLO SHOW WRITTEN AND PERFORMED BY JOE BAER
This original one-man show written and performed by Joe Baer tells the story of Mark Twain. The story, told by Samuel Clemens, reveals how he transformed into the legendary Mark Twain within the context of the nearly eight decades in which he lived. The performance is peppered throughout with passages and quips culled from Mark Twain’s many humorous works, set against a backdrop of historical visual projections.
If you enjoy history, Mark Twain’s satiric humor, and story-telling, you won’t want to miss this solo show!
Performance length: 60-minutes with optional post-show Q&A or talkback. Suitable for schools, historical societies, and theaters in the Hudson Valley.
